Where to get pizza in Huntersville: Birkdale, Rosedale, downtown

Huntersville’s pizza places cluster in three spots. Three are at Birkdale Village and Birkdale Landing off Interstate 77 at Exit 25, three more sit near the same exit on Statesville Road and in the Northcross area, and two are in the Rosedale area near Exit 23. Slice House is downtown and Mama’s Pizza Express is on Statesville Road between the two.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Huntersville’s town limits, the same data that feeds our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Inizio, Mama’s Pizza Express, North Italia, Slice House and Uncle Maddio’s from their own websites, each of which gives a Huntersville street address. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. A restaurant can correct its entry through our contact page.

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

Brixx is a wood-fired pizza restaurant at Birkdale Village; the chain’s location list calls it Charlotte-Birkdale. It is open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Domino’s

The Domino’s store on Rosedale Hill Avenue, near Exit 23, posts the latest hours on this list: until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Duckworth’s Grill and Taphouse

Duckworth’s, a grill and taphouse near Exit 25, has a pizzas and flatbreads section on its menu and says the full menu is served until closing.

Hawthorne’s New York Pizza and Bar

Hawthorne’s serves New York-style pizza, wings, salads and pastas on Reese Boulevard. Hours are not posted on its site; call ahead.

Inizio Pizza Napoletana

Inizio is a Neapolitan pizza shop at Birkdale Landing, near the lake. It closes at 9 p.m. most nights, or earlier if the dough runs out, it says.

Mama’s Pizza Express

Mama’s Pizza Express describes its food as authentic New York-style pizza. The Huntersville location on Statesville Road takes online orders and catering requests.

North Italia

North Italia is a modern Italian restaurant at Birkdale Village with a pizza section on its menu, including a gluten-free crust option. It takes reservations, and parking is in the Birkdale Village decks and lots.

Slice House Pizza

Slice House is a New York-style pizzeria in downtown Huntersville. It is closed Sundays so its staff can have a day off, it says, and offers delivery through DoorDash.

Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria

Taste of Buffalo is a family-owned pizzeria off Exit 25 serving Western New York food, including sheet pizza, specialty pizzas, wings and subs. It is closed Mondays.

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza

Uncle Maddio’s is in the Northcross shopping center and serves pizza, salads and what it calls foldwiches. Hours are not posted on its location page; call ahead.
