The Rural Hill Corn Maze is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 5 through Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at Historic Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Road. Day hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on October Friday and Saturday nights there is a night maze from 5 p.m. Rural Hill: 704-875-3113, info@ruralhill.net.

Rural Hill is a 265-acre historic site, nature preserve and farm in western Huntersville, and the maze is its fall event. The 2026 design nods to the site’s Scottish roots with a bagpiper and Rural Hill’s own Highland cow.

  • Price: the Eventbrite listing showed tickets from $15.16 to $22.51 with fees when we checked.
  • Any day: tickets are not date-specific and can be used on any day the maze is open to the public.

What else is there

The Eventbrite listing says a maze visit also takes in:

  • a tractor-pulled hayride around the farm;
  • Rural Hill’s Highland cows, for a photo;
  • a pumpkin patch, where you can pick and buy a pumpkin;
  • local food trucks, which change through the season;
  • bounce houses for children;
  • live music on Saturdays, with acts to be announced.

Inside the maze, find the game stations to complete the game sheet. Staff will help you out if you get lost.

Getting there and parking

  • Bring a flashlight for the night maze.
  • Groups of 50 or more, including schools, churches and companies, can book weekdays; contact Rural Hill.
