Trash pickup and town services on July 4

Waste Connections, which collects Huntersville’s carts, observes only three holidays: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, the town’s trash page says, so pickup runs on its normal schedule over the Fourth of July. Bulk item pickup is Mondays; when a holiday falls on a Monday, it moves to Tuesday. In 2027, July 4 falls on a Sunday.
